About this guide

# Introduction

This guide is written for anyone using Craft CMS to manage content in a website. If you are a developer and want to know more about the technical setup of Craft, we refer you to technical documentation at craftcms.com (opens new window)

Craft’s greatest strength is that it is highly flexible and versatile. Always uniquely designed for your situation. Every Craft website is therefore a custom website. That makes it a challenge to publish a detailed user manual.

Therefore, we can give a good basic explanation of Craft with this tutorial, but we have to leave out the customization setup. We will first discuss how the features work on overview pages and the detail pages. Those views are common in the control panel and form the basis of Craft. Then we’ll go into the components in the order they are also displayed in the control panel menu.

This manual will give you a good start in Craft and still will be clear to you despite we can’t discus your specific setup in detail. Having trouble? Please contact the developer of your website.

This manual is written for an English Craft user. If you’re using a Dutch user, it’s better to use the Dutch version of this manual.

This manual is thoroughly composed by WHITE Digital Agency with the explicit permission from Pixel & Tonic, the creators of Craft CMS (opens new window).
